The first project I was tasked with at Sheridan was to redesign the Sustainability micro-site. Working closely with the Design Lead for the organisation, I ran two workshops with the main stakeholders to gather the business requirements for the micro-site.
I then began planning out the information architecture for the micro-site and quickly determined that despite the business insisting that this needed to be a micro-site, this was actually just a page within the existing website.
As there was pushback on my notion that no micro-site was needed, I created low-fidelity wireframes in order to present my case. Thankfully the business agreed after the initial wireframe presentation, iteration was conducted on the wires and the page launched a few weeks later.
